Dave’s X-Men ’97 Meal: Food, Figures and Launch Details

A look at the July 2026 X-Meal launch. Historical offer details do not confirm collectible stock at a restaurant today.

If you found an old X-Meal photo and want to know what came with it, the main distinction is simple. Dave’s X-Men ’97 promotion combined a food order with one blind-bag figurine. It did not promise a complete set of four figures in a single meal.

The announced offer

Dave’s announced the collaboration on June 29, 2026 for a July 1 launch through sell-out. The stated launch price was $13.99 for a Slider & Fries or Bites & Fries meal with one collectible figurine. This guide records that launch. Current restaurant stock has not been confirmed as of October 31, 2026.

What was included in the X-Meal?

The company’s June 29 announcement described a choice between the slider-and-fries version and the bites-and-fries version. Each came with one blind-bag figurine.

Bites versionBites and friesOne blind-bag figurine

The standard Dave’s #4 guide explains the regular slider meal. The Bites guide explains the smaller chicken format. Those regular food guides do not imply that a collectible accompanies an ordinary order.

If you are comparing an old receipt with the launch announcement, check the actual promotion line. Buying similar food under a regular menu name is different from buying the collectible bundle.

The four announced X-Men characters

The launch announcement named Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey. They were four possible figures in the collection. A blind bag does not let the buyer see the enclosed character before opening it.

The announcement did not establish equal odds, a guaranteed no-duplicate set or a store policy allowing customers to choose a character. Do not turn a fan’s successful trade or a particular employee’s response into a rule for every restaurant.

If your aim is to complete a collection, separate that goal from the food purchase. Multiple meals do not by themselves guarantee four different figures. Any resale listing also needs its own checks for condition, completeness and price.

What the $13.99 price does and does not mean

The figure above is the price stated in the dated launch announcement. It is not a verified checkout quote for a specific branch today. The announcement does not establish one final after-tax or delivered total for every customer.

For an old order, compare the same food version and check the receipt for additional items. An extra drink, dip or another meal can change what the person actually paid. A social post showing a larger tray may include purchases beyond the X-Meal.

For a current food order, use the selected restaurant’s menu instead. Our local price guide explains why a promotional headline is not enough to predict your complete total.

App extras were separate from the blind-bag figure

The announcement also mentioned limited-edition pins and exclusive comic content through Dave’s app while supplies lasted. Those app extras should not be described as automatically included physical items in every restaurant bag.

An app promotion can have separate steps or conditions. Old screenshots are not enough to prove that an offer remains available. Open the current offer terms before making a purchase specifically to obtain a reward.

The official Dave’s website is a starting point for current brand offers. Our app-deals guide explains why the offer shown in your account matters more than an old promotional image.

Can you still order the X-Men meal?

The confirmed launch wording was July 1 through sell-out. That establishes a limited promotion rather than a permanent menu promise. It does not provide a universal stock count for every branch months later.

Before traveling for a collectible, ask the specific restaurant whether the promotional meal and figurine are both available. A restaurant may still sell sliders or bites even when the related collectible is unavailable.

  • Check the full restaurant address before asking about stock.
  • Name the X-Men ’97 promotion rather than asking only for a toy.
  • Ask whether a current bundle includes the figure.
  • Confirm the price and purchase conditions before ordering.

This guide does not claim the promotion has ended at every restaurant. It also does not claim that remaining stock exists. Either claim would need a current restaurant check.

Choose the food separately from the collectible

A themed meal is still a food order. Choose a heat level you are comfortable with and check ingredients for the actual version. A familiar character on a promotion does not change the meal’s ingredients or preparation.

Dave’s official nutrition and allergen information is the right place to start those checks. For ordinary food choices, use the Dave’s Hot Chicken menu.

The useful record of the X-Meal is its launch date, two food choices and one-of-four blind-bag format. Keep those historical details separate from today’s stock. If the figure is the reason for your trip, confirm it with the branch before spending money on the journey.

For the earlier collectible offer, the Fallout Saucy Survival Kit guide records its January 2026 food choices and Stimpak item. Its contents should not be confused with the X-Men blind-bag figures.
