New Dave’s Hot Chicken Locations: Verified Updates

A dated opening announcement and a future development plan mean different things. Here is what the checked sources actually confirm.

A new Dave’s Hot Chicken headline does not always mean a restaurant is ready for your order. Some announcements confirm an opening. Others describe a signed deal or a location that is still coming. This update separates those stages using sources checked on October 31, 2026.

The latest verified distinction

Dave’s announced its 500th restaurant milestone in Phoenix on October 8, 2026. Mall of America announced a future Dave’s location on October 19. The mall announcement did not provide an opening date. These are selected verified updates, not a complete list of every new restaurant.

Phoenix: a confirmed company opening milestone

In its October 8 company announcement, Dave’s reported the opening of its 500th restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona. That is a dated company milestone. It should not be treated as an unchanging live restaurant count.

The release also discusses future development and international expansion. Future rights or agreements are different from restaurants already serving food. A large planned total does not tell you which nearby branch is open today.

The announcement gives useful evidence of an opening in the city. For a visit, you still need the actual restaurant page and ordering location. Do not choose a branch from the city name alone.

Phoenix addresses in the current official directory

The official Phoenix directory listed the following two addresses when checked. Their presence in the directory helps identify the branches. It does not establish a separate opening date for each one.

Listed addressCity and ZIPListed telephone
475 East Bell Rd.Phoenix, AZ 85022(480) 864-9899
1819 N. 99th Ave.Phoenix, AZ 85037(623) 253-0563

These directory listings are shown separately from the milestone claim. We are not assigning the 500th-store label to a specific address without an explicit address match in the cited opening source.

If both branches appear in a delivery search, compare the address rather than just the restaurant name. The nearest branch and the branch serving a particular delivery address may differ.

Mall of America: announced, with opening day unconfirmed

Mall of America’s October 19 announcement confirms plans for Dave’s Hot Chicken in Bloomington, Minnesota. Its wording describes a restaurant that will open. The release does not give a verified opening day.

That means the announcement supports a future location. It does not support a claim that the restaurant is currently open or that it will open on a date guessed from a search result.

Before making a special trip, look for a later mall or restaurant update with opening information. Also check the mall directory for its eventual unit location. A large shopping center’s street address alone will not tell you where to enter or which level contains the restaurant.

How to read other expansion announcements

Coming soonA restaurant is plannedWhether service has started
Opening announced for a dateA scheduled openingLater changes or delays
Now openAn opening has been announcedToday’s hours and services

A construction record may show a projected building schedule. It should not be converted into a restaurant opening date. Likewise, a hiring notice can show preparation without proving that customers can place orders.

A useful opening report names its source and separates confirmed facts from plans. Repeating an estimated date across several blogs does not make the date official.

Check these details before visiting a new branch

  1. Match the full street address with the restaurant’s official listing.
  2. Check for a later announcement if the first report said coming soon.
  3. Open the selected restaurant’s ordering page and confirm the intended pickup time.
  4. Verify hours for the actual day of your visit.
  5. Check any opening giveaway separately for dates and conditions.

An unavailable pickup slot can have several causes. It is not enough on its own to prove that a restaurant has closed or has not opened. If the sources disagree, contact the listed restaurant before traveling.

Our hours guide explains why a general brand schedule is not enough. The drive-thru guide also covers a service that should be checked branch by branch.

Use the opening news and the local menu together

A new location announcement answers where the brand is expanding. It does not confirm every special, local price or delivery option at that restaurant. Select the branch first, then check its menu.

For the next step, use our restaurant-finding guide and the Dave’s Hot Chicken menu. Keep this distinction when reading future updates: Phoenix has a dated opening milestone. Mall of America has a confirmed announcement but no verified opening date in the source checked here.
